How To Fill Your Newsletter Fast šŸ“§

So you made a lead magnet. You spent your precious weekend creating that email course with your life’s knowledge. You hit publish. Crickets.

Feels good right?

Lead magnets are the bridge between social media and your email list. Remember, your email list is where you make money, so you need to work out how to grow it.

Content is one piece of the game, but you need to crack distribution as well.

But how?

Here’s a 5 step framework for a viral lead magnet launch (so you can collect 100’s of emails):

Step 1: Make sure your lead magnet delivers value. Sounds obvious, but no one will sign up if it’s not useful. Here’s a free blueprint on how to create a free lead magnet which delivers more value than your competitors’ paid stuff.

Step 2: Launch. Don’t overthink this step. Tell your audiences across all your platforms (by explaining the value they’ll receive to solve their problems). Keep the engagement high in the comments.

Step 3: Keep it visible. Use your bios to post the link so it’s the first thing that readers will see. If more people see your newsletter, more people will subscribe to it.

Step 4: Repeat. Don’t expect miracles on the first go. You’re not Kanye at the Super Bowl. Discreetly promote your lead magnet every few posts in the comments section.

Step 5: Iterate. Review the data on your lead magnet and make adjustments. High subscribers but little engagement or conversion? Your call to action may need improving. Be sure to speak to the subscribers you receive for further feedback.

There you go, that’s how you can get your client acquisition cost to $0. Avoid fancy hacks and nail the basics.

The Process Is More Important Than The Goal šŸ“ˆ

Quote of the week:

"The person who carefully designs their daily routine goes further than the person who negotiates with themselves every day." — @ShaneAParrish

Most people spend too much time on their goals.

Once you’ve nailed your north star, all your attention should go toward the process of how to get there.

If you’re not clear on the day-to-day actions, you’ll get nowhere.

Things started to happen for me when I leaned into routines, daily actions and making the journey fun.

Here’s how to fall in love with the process and make it easy to take daily action.
